Bill Soper

Bill is an architect and town planner with extensive experience in all forms of development, regeneration and refurbishment, extending across contemporary landmark, new build, masterplanning and urban renewal in the UK.  His work covers offices, residential, hotels, student residential, retail and business sectors.

He joined tp bennett in 1983 becoming a Partner in 1989 and a Principal Director of the LLP after its formation in 2004. He has extensive experience of major landmark projects across London and the South East as well as schemes in Derby, Cambridge, Leeds, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Exeter, Reading and Oxford.

Bill has been responsible for major commercial projects including Microsoft, Dell, Britannic Assurance and Cambridge University as well as speculative offices, some notable city buildings and business parks in and around London. He has also designed numerous student residential projects for developers, operators and university clients and is well recognised in this sector. Recent projects include Nido Spitalfields, a large mixed use new build regeneration scheme/ masterplan which includes the design of the world’s tallest 35-storey student residential tower.
