David graduated from The Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen in 1995, and the University of Strathclyde where he completed his Masters in Advanced Architectural Design in 1997.
Following the completion of his Masters he was granted British Council scholarships to survey and document Medieval & Ottoman architecture in the Middle East.

David joined tp bennett in 1997 as an Architectural Assistant and was appointed as a Director in 2011. During his time with the practice David has been responsible for a many new build and refurbishment projects in the education and commercial office sectors.  He is currently working to deliver a new 170-bed student residential scheme within a conservation area in Camden and a 120,000 sq ft office refurbishment and extension in North London.

Many of David’s projects are located in tight urban locations and often feature a combination of new build, refurbishment and extensions.  

David provides a full range of design-led services including initial feasibility assessments for existing buildings and sites, detailed planning negotiations, through to contract delivery on site.  He believes that working collaboratively is central to ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time and on budget.
