Stephen Masterson

BA(Hons) Director

Stephen joined tp bennett in 2016 as Client Development Director, working alongside both the interiors and architecture disciplines and across multiple sectors including corporate offices, mixed-use, student residential, education, hospitality, healthcare and public sector. His remit includes overseeing all marketing, PR and business development operations, building long-term client relationships and helping to grow the business internationally through global accounts and strategic alliance partnerships.  

Starting his career, Stephen graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a degree in Furniture & Product Design and began working for New Designers in Business and The Design Trust, a charitable organisation helping design graduates to set up in business and to provide a full range of marketing support services. In 1998 he went on to lead marketing and sales at a leading product design company and managed key retailer accounts including The Conran Shop and Heal’s. In 2003 Stephen joined world renown Fitch Design Consultants as Business Development Manager working across product design, city wayfinding and retail sectors.

Stephen entered the London fit out market in 2005 by joining Tilney Shane architects where he gained comprehensive experience within business development, client relationship management, marketing functions and PR activities. A subsequent move to Pringle Brandon in 2008 (now Perkins+Will) led to a decade working at the forefront of the corporate fit out market in London, UK & EMEA and within a global practice.

Stephen is the current Chair for the CoreNet UK Chapter Events Committee.
